Colombian delegation heads to Azerbaijan

A Colombian Foreign Ministry delegation visited Azerbaijan to discuss bilateral cooperation and trade, the government announced Friday.

Colombia’s Deputy Minister of Multilateral Affairs Patti Londoño, as well as the foreign trade and infrastructure deputy ministers, met with Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov.

The ministers also discussed tourism and culture, with Colombia announcing it will hold an “Azerbaijan Week” next year, during which the Azerbaijani cultural minister will visit Colombia.

The visit marks the first time a Colombian delegation has visited the Eurasian nation.
