Colombian crooner Fanny Lu launches new album

Colombia’s sultry singer Fanny Lu has launched her newest album “Felicidad y Perpetua,” in the United States, Mexico, Central and South America.

Her record label describes the album as being one where “the fusion of sound mixes with the diverse and rich character of her lyrics, that show a re-innovated Fanny Lu, a strong woman defined by her ideals and values.”

The 10-song CD includes the hit “Fanfarron,” for which Fanny Lu made a sexy and sassy music video at the end of August. Fanfarron was the number one radio hit in Colombia for 11 weeks running, six weeks in Ecuador, and currently holds a spot in Mexico’s Top 20 and Central America’s Top 10.

The sexy Shakira doppelganger is currently in the midst of an international promotional tour for “Felicidad y Perpetua.”

She reports being “delighted to see the fans singing her songs. That means that every effort is worthwhile … I feel like our energy grows with each show that we do, and I like that my music reaches such diverse audiences. Young people identify with my songs, children, adolescents, and everyone likes to dance and have fun.”

Felicidad y Perpetua “is a celebration of individuality, an album full of life, and an invitation to perpetual happiness,” Universal Musica described.
