Colombian authorities Saturday arrested the suspected leader of Los Paisas, one of the country’s leading paramilitary drug gangs.
Jairo Luiz Dias, also known as ‘Mincho’ or ‘El Profe’, was arrested in the city of Monteria in the northern department of Cordoba.
The alleged drug lord is suspected of shipping drugs to the United States and was placed in custody.
