Colombian ATM dispenses bullion and gold coins

The Banoro Value Store company, which claims to be the first store of its kind in Medellin to safely and securely buy and sell gold, on Wednesday launched Latin America’s first ATM that dispenses gold and silver bars and coins.

People can withdraw gold or silver using either a credit card or cash and can acquire between .5 to 250 grams of either pure metal from this new ATM, located in Medellin as part of the 9th International Mining Fair.

The Banoro Value Store company ensures that all metals withdrawn from the ATM are internationally certified.

The ATM can be operated in five different languages, provides information about the desired precious metal and has a system that tells the user the updated international price of gold every 60 seconds.

The ATM is located in the Banoro Value Store in downtown Medellin and will soon be in shopping centers around the city.
