Colombian army kills girlfriend ‘Kadafi’

The military says the death of his girlfriend and personal bodyguards means the army is closing in ‘Kadafi’. “The death in combat of this terrorist is very important, because it shows how close we are to the capture or neutralization of the commander,” Colonel José Emiro Barrios told Colombian newspaper ‘La Patria’. The army says ‘Kadafi’ has lost all means of communicating with other FARC fronts and is isolated. “Now the woman’s dead, we’ll go after ‘Kadafi’,” an army soldier said in the newspaper.’Kadafi’ and ‘Marisol’ reportedly have a one-year old child, whose whereabouts are unknown.
