Colombian airline launches budget flight deals

Colombian national carrier Aires launched a new initiative on its website Tuesday offering customers different cut-price flights to both national and international destinations every day of the year.

The initiative, labelled “Airesmania,” will promote flight specials online that will only be available for short periods of time.

The time remaining to buy each flight will be visible online to customers who access the specials, according to Dinero.com.

Aires has flights to 23 national and five international destinations, and plans to open routes to New York and Toronto in 2010.
