“What we can do is show our complete willingness to reveive both candidates in Colombia and re-affirm the Colombian government’s interest in keeping the relations on the best possible level with both Republicans and Democrats,” Araújo said on RCN Radio.The Foreign Minister said the government would like Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to visit Colombia, just like his Republican competitor, John McCain intents to do and does not want to take sides “in favor of one of another (candidate)”.
