Colombia defeats Bolivia 2-1 in South American U-20 World Cup qualifying

Colombia defeated Bolivia 2-1 on Tuesday in Group B of South American qualifying for the Under-20 World Cup, a victory that edged Colombia closer to reaching the second round of the tournament.

Camilo Franco scored with a header in the 20th minute and Andres Escroba added the second in the 37th. Darwin Rios scored for Bolivia in the 56th.

Brazil was to face Ecuador in a late match in Group B.

Brazil leads the group with seven points and has already reached the second round. Ecuador and Colombia have four points, Paraguay has three and Bolivia has one.
