ChocQuibTown makes music with Tego Calderon (video)

Fan favorite ChocQuibTown releases their new jam “Calentura,” a co-production with Puerto Rican rapper Tego Calderon and Colombian singer-songwriter Zully Murillo.

“Calentura” (Heat) is the second promotional single from their new album “Eso es lo que hay” (This is what there is) which includes their other hit “Tu cancion” (Your song).

ChocQuibTown band members Tostao, Goyo y Slow explain that “Calentura” is a mix between dance hall and hip-hop that has lyrics that restore Afro-Colombian heritage, from urban to rural.

Among many instruments, this hit includes a Pacific-Colombian original “marimba de Chonta”  that has defined the characteristic sound of the Grammy-Latino award winner and Grammy nominated band ChocQuibTown.
