Television host Carolina Cruz, Colombia’s most annoying celebrity on Twitter, succeeded Tuesday in getting more than 500,000 followers on the social media network.
Cruz, who has not tweeted anything sensible since joining Twitter, announced her 500,000th follower late Tuesday evening.
The victim, identified as Cesar Rodriguez and active under @Gioconda205, had joined Twitter just before with the words “how I would love to hold you in my arms to fill you with me” and did not respond to Cruz’ announcement. Rodriguez on Wednesday still only had one friend; another Carolina Cruz fan.
Cruz, who probably holds the world’s stupid tweets per hour (st/h) record, sent 15 kisses, big kisses and super big kisses between 6AM and noon Wednesday while expressing her love to four of her followers.
Cruz’ official facebook page has failed to reach the popularity of her Twitter account, despite behind-the-scenes photos of her doing photo shoots, and had 50 likes Wednesday around noon.
