Black Eyed Peas to play in Bogota

Grammy award winning hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas will perform in Colombia as part of their South American tour this year.

According to website Vive.in, the Los Angeles collective – made up of Will.i.am., Apl.de.ap, Taboo y Fergie – will be bringing their urban sounds to Colombia’s capital in October 2010.

The tour will showcase tracks from the band’s latest album, “The E.N.D,” which was released last year and has provided the group with a string of successful hits including “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling.”

The exact date and location of the concert have yet to be confirmed.

Other international musicians coming to Colombia in the near future include American rockers Aerosmith in May and Jamaican dancehall star Sean Paul in April.
