Avianca passenger demand soars

Colombia’s premier airline, Avianca, has recorded a 9.7% jump in passenger demand over the first two months of 2013.

A 9.7% rise in passengers, up to 3.9 million during January and February, comes on the tail of increased air travel across Latin America in 2012. Avianca reported an 11.4% increase in passenger travel from 2012 to 2013 with Ecuador and Peru.
