Authorities charge judge for releasing ‘El Indio’ under false pretenses

Colombia prosecutors charged the judge who ordered the release ‘El
Indio’, the alleged right hand man of drug kingpin ‘Don Mario’, for
using false arguments leading to the release.

The judge ordered the release of the alleged drug criminal, because the State allegedy failed to indict them on time.

John Freddy ‘El Indio’ Manco Torres and two other suspected criminals are witnesses in the corruption case against Huillermo Valencia Cossio, former Medellin district attorney and brother of the Interior and Justice Minister. Valencia Cossio is accused of having done favors for ‘Don Mario’.
