Attack on northern Colombia oil pipeline

An oil pipeline in northern Colombia was bombed Tuesday for the second time in a week, reported local media.

The most recent attack took place in the village of Miralinto, a few kilometers from where the pipeline was attacked on Thursday last week. The spilled oil is reportedly not spreading due to low water levels in the rivers.

Staff of the national oil company Ecopetrol have so far been unable to repair the damage as they are waiting for the army to secure the area.
