72% of Bogotanos disapprove of mayor

A total 72% of inhabitants of the Colombian capital Bogota disapprove of the city’s Mayor Samuel Moreno, according to a poll published in newspaper El Tiempo.

According to the newspaper, the mayor can count on the approval of 28% of his constituency; 10 percentage points less than a year ago.

Only 13% of the capital’s population said that they trust their mayor.

The city’s transport and security situation are what worry Bogotanos the most, said El Tiempo.

The poll was conducted between July 15 and August 19 among 1,513 inhabitants of the capital.
