FARC continues to suffer severe losses: Caracol radio

Within the last two months up to 300 members of Colombian guerrilla group FARC have either been killed, displaced of captured, according to an official report obtained by radio station Caracol.

These are the results of over 50 special operations and 15 bombardments of FARC camps in the central and south Colombian departments of Meta, Caqueta, Tolima and Cundinamarca.

A Colombian army operation on Friday led to assassination of two FARC members, as well as the confiscation of fourteen rifles.

The report identified that the national army’s new strategy is to break down the support structures, such as the supply of food and arms, that are reaching FARC camps.
