2 police killed in Arauca ‘FARC attack’

Two policemen were killed and at least three were injured in an alleged FARC attack against a police patrol in Tame, Arauca.

Several armed guerrillas attacked a police car patrolling near a spa two miles outside the city of Tame and injured an unknown number of civilians, radio station La FM reported.

After the attack, the guerrillas burned the police car and fled.

Colombia has recently seen a spate guerrilla attacks, primarily attributed to FARC guerrillas.
