2 dead, 6 injured in south-Bogota traffic accident

A traffic accident just south of Bogota has cost the lives of two and injured six others, local media reported Sunday.

The crash took place on the highway connecting Colombia’s capital with Villavicencio, a city 50 miles south of Bogota.

According to the reports, all victims were inside a bus that exploded for unknown reasons.

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals while authorities closed off the road to investigate the exact cause of the explosion.
