‘Silver’ confirmed dead in raid on FARC camp

Colombian Defense Minister Rodrigo Rivera has confirmed the death of  a guerrilla known by the alias “Silver” in a raid on the FARC camp of the 57th Front near the border with Panama. Silver was apparently involved with the financial aspects of the guerrilla group.

Rodrigo said that recovery of the bodies of those killed in the raid began this morning, and the other five bodies extracted thus far are still being identified.

The attack was carried out by Colombian police and military on the camp just one kilometer from the border with Panama.
