Alejandro Char new president of Radical Change Party

Colombia’s Radical Change Party named former Barranquilla Mayor Alejandro Char as their new president, said local media Wednesday.

Char replaced Carlos Fernando Galan who retired as president last December.

Radical Changes’ National Directive chose Char in a unanimous decision.

Char accepted the nomination and said he would soon begin a national tour to consult with the party.
