Santos’ press secretary accepts job with US TV channel

Adriana Vargas, spokeswoman for the Santos administration, has resigned her post to accept a new job for the U.S. Spanish-language television channel Univision, lafiscalia reported Wednesday.

In Vargas’ new position, based in New York, she will be responsible for reporting on political issues that are of interest to Hispanic U.S. residents.

The former press secretary has previously held posts as a presenter for Colombian media sources RCN Radio and Caracol Radio.
