Colombian beauty queen wanted 18 children

Former “Miss Colombia” Paula Andrea Betancur confessed on Tuesday she always wanted a family of 18 children, until “thank God” she decided becoming Miss Colombia was a better idea.

In an interview with tabloid Q’Hubo, the 1992 Miss Colombia explained that she grew up a shy girl, with the traditional dream of getting married and becoming a housewife with a brood of children.

“I never dreamt of being a beauty queen or famous. I dreamt of having eighteen children and a love for housework, but thank God I reconsidered, because it’s hard work,” Betancur told the tabloid.

However, the bombshell never really got rid of her mother instinct. Following a career as a model and fashion entrepreneur, she ended up having three children.
