Colombian health authorities raised the number of patients carrying the
AH1N1 virus, or swine flu, to 53 on Wednesday.
The three new cases are all from Bogota. Two women and the daughter of the first deadly victim of the influenza were confirmed positive. Authorities are investigating where the two women were infected with the AH1N1 virus.
All three patients are treated at home and are allowed no visitors.
Since the break out of the virus, Colombian authorities issued an
alert for possible swine flu in 1,445 cases. 347 people are considered
