Colombian singer Shakira has revealed she will sing her next album in both Spanish and English. The 32-year-old is set to release her album, “El Sol,” in the autumn.
The lycanthropic megastar said the follow-up to “She-Wolf” is “almost done” and that fans can expect “a strong rock side” to the new tunes, as well as some “Latino” and “romantic” aspects.
“I’m very excited about the new album, because it reminds me of different eras and stages of my career. It’s like a synthesis of all these 20 years,” she said.
The She Wolf babe also said that her new offering would be deeply personal and deal with issues like heartbreak. “It’s been quite interesting to make this album, I’ve been reconnecting to myself,” she explained.
Shakira’s World Cup hit “Waka Waka,” which will definitely feature on the new album, is the fastest and best-selling World Cup record to date, reaching number one in seventeen countries.
The singer also recently revealed she had plans to expand her business empire by launching a new scent called “S.”
