7 Colombian businesswomen rank in the top 50 for LatAm

Seven Colombian entrepreneurs are among the top 50 businesswomen in Latin America, reported Latin Business Chronicle (LBC) Thursday.

According to LBC, the group “represents natives of Latin America as well as foreign executives who have a significant impact on the region, supervising companies that are among the top tax payers and employers in several countries in the region.”

The list includes Yolanda Auza Gomez, president of wold wide information company Unisys and general manager Costa Rica’s airline LACSA; Monica de Greiff, president of Grupo Energía de Bogotá; Luz Elena del Castillo, general director of Ford Motor; Carmiña Ferro, president of Helm Bank; María Mercedes Cuellar, president of Asobancaria; Violy McCausland-Seve, president of Violy, Byorum and Partners, and Gloria Ortega de Arza, president of Tigo Colombia.

The Latin American business magazine also ranks the top companies, most powerful businesspeople, top insurance companies, employers, airports, and sea ports in Latin America.
