6 massacred in southwest Colombia

Authorities in southwest Colombia said Friday they found a car with five men and one woman, all shot to death, next to a sugar cane field.

According to the police commander of the Valle de Cauca department where the bodies were found, the victims were first killed elsewhere and then taken to the sugar cane fiels where they were found by neighbors.

Police Commissioner Julian Gonzales told Caracol Radio the victims were between 25 and 45 years old, but had not yet been identified.
