Colombian companies attend Russian trade fairs

Fifty-five Colombian companies will take part in three Eastern European trade fairs in Russia for bids to enter new markets, financial publication Dinero reported Tuesday.

With the support of investment and tourism promoter Proexport, the Colombian enterprises will participate in the Flower Exposition 2011, happening now, Collection Premiere Moscow – a textile, fashion and design fair – and World Food Moscow later this month.

The aim is for the Colombian businesses to enter new markets and emphasize non-traditional exports to countries such as Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan.
