5 dead in Barranquilla massacre

Five people were killed and at least nine injured when unknown assassins opened fire on a group attending a party in the northern Colombia city of Barranquilla.

According to newspaper El Espectador, witnesses said assassins on several motorbikes used a .38 and a Mini Uzi in the attack.

Among the dead was a 5-year-old boy, authorities said Monday.

The shooting took place Sunday night in the poor neighborhood of La Chinita in the south-east of the city.
