5 found dead after building collapse in northern Colombia

Five construction workers were found dead after a building collapsed in the northern department of Santander, reported local media Thursday.

Reports said construction was being done on a 21-story building in the city of Bucaramanga, when a wall collapsed, burying nine people.

Police rescued several people and uncover four dead bodies. One victim was found alive, before dying of fatal injuries at a nearby hospital.

Relief agencies continue the search for others potential survivors.

The cause of the collapse has not been identified.
