3,000 cartridges of 7.62 millimeter caliber have been discovered and seized by the military in Colombia’s southern department of Huila.

According to a military report, the thousands of cartridges belonged to the FARC’s 6th Front which has a militant presence in both Huila and Cauca departments and is allegedly led by Hernando Gonzalez Acosta.

The ammunition was allegedly found in a plastic canister and fiber bag in a town of western Huila called San Vicente, El Espectador reported.
