Man with 14 wives and 29 children asks help to support massive family

With 29 offspring, a 40-year-old construction worker has fathered the largest number of children in the entire Colombian department of Valle, reported news station Caracol Radio on Monday.

The father, Jose Alejandro Montano, admitted in an interview with Caracol that he was satisfied with his situation but was in need of assistance to support his abundant family.

Montano has worked his way through a succession of 14 wives and claims he carries a list of his children and the mothers to whom they each correspond in his wallet.

Today Montano lives with his 14th and current wife, with whom he has nine children.

Montano confessed in the interview that one of the most important days in his life, justifiably, is Father’s Day. This is because the celebrations take over the entire neighbourhood in which he lives and it is the only opportunity he gets to spend with his entire brood.

Montano also denied any prior knowledge about enhancing drug Viagra and assured the interviewer that his children were all conceived naturally.
