28 dead after Medellín landslide, no more missing persons

Mourning families of the victims have started burying their diseased loved ones Monday.The Medellín government quadrupled the budget of finding alternative housing for those affected by the weather. Hundreds of houses in the city’s poor neighborhoods are affected by the rain or are threatened by possible landslides. 300 families have been immediately evacuated over the past few days and will have to be provided a safer place to live.During the OAS meeting, also held in Medellín, President of the Inter-American Development Bank, Luis Alberto Moreno, announced a $250,000 donation for people in Medellín affected by the extreme weather.Rescue workers have stopped the search for possible survivors or bodies.
