Police arrested twenty hooligans after fights broke out among
Millonarios fans during the Copa Cafam match against Argentinos Juniors.
The riots in the northern section of Bogotá’s El Campín stadium left a number of fans wounded. Police confiscated 42 knives and 38 bottles of liquor.
The arrested rioters will be held for at least 24 hours and run the risk of being banned from the stadium for a full year.
Millonarios won the match 2-0 and will proceed to the final of the Copa Cafam, versus América de Cali on Sunday.
