2 policemen killed in ‘FARC’ attack

An alleged FARC attack left two policemen dead in southern Colombia, Caracol Radio reported Monday.

The two men were killed in the municipality of Montañitas, Caqueta department while responding to an emergency call concerning a pregnant woman.

The pregnant woman and a man also sustained injuries in the attack.

The police and the army are currently pursuing the suspected guerrillas.

Update:

Two more are dead after the FARC attack.

Both pregnant woman’s companion and baby died in the hospital, W Radio reported.

Montañitas is the municipality where French journalist Romeo Langlois was released Wednesday, May 30 after being held captive by the FARC for nearly a month.
