2 dead, 4 injured in ‘FARC’ minefield

Two soldiers die and four others are injured in a FARC minefield in northwest Colombia. according to army sources.

The soldiers, in the 30th Brigade of the National Army, were hurt in Santa Cecilia, a mountainous region in the department of Norte de Santander, reported magazine Semana. The injured were taken to hospital in Ocaña.

In the southwest department of Caqueta, in the municipality of Solano, Colombian army and police seized several computers, notebooks, weapons and military equipment allegedly belonging to the FARC, reported Caracol Radio. The seizure was made close to where four military hostages were killed by the leftist rebel group late November.
