The survey, conducted by the Inspector General, the Welfare department and the Statistics department also confirms that 2 million Colombian children are working. Half of these children work more than 15 hours a week to make the family’s ends meet.The Inspector General announced he will call on the country’s Governors to undertake action and come up with strategies to detect, prevent and eradicate the worst forms of child labour.
