Cali celebrated Colombia's beginning of Christmas by turning on its Christmas lights. Thousands and thousands of lights are decorating the streets and the river.
Colombia's third largest city may not have the immense flow of tourists that national-Christmas-decorations-champion Medellín draws every December, but it is certainly trying to compete in what's becoming a more extravagant decoration of Colombia's three largest cities.

... I saw the lights last week, and they are beautiful. Cali did a great job this year. I am from the US and heading back home tomorrow but I will miss the country and the people. |
