"Sitcom is promoting homosexuality"

Senator Victor Velásquez of christian party Colombia Viva en Unidad Cristiana says Colombian sitcom Aqui no hay quien viva (There's no one here who lives) is promoting homosexuality, teaching promiscuity and incest.

"I have seen six-year-old children play Mauri and Fer [the homosexual couple in the series], children who still don't have the reason to decide what to do with their sexuality," the senator told newspaper El Tiempo.

The senator wants congress to devote a debate to the sitcom, because the RCN series "invites and promotes these new sexual trends that help no one in the development of their personality" at a time children still watch television.

Heads up genius you can't MAKE someone homosexual, you either are or you aren't. Watching a TV show isn't going to 'turn' someone gay. When these bible bashers start dealing with fact rather than how they 'think' the world works the world might actually take a step forward and start to fix its damn self.
