Colombian President Álvaro Uribe is a direct descendant of the English
King Richard of Lionheart and has family ties to the Egyptian pharaoh
Anmenoteph III, genetic scientists say.
According to the scientists, Uribe "is a direct descendant of king Richard of Lionheart", an Engilsh king that lived from 1157 till 1199, magazine Semana reported.
The scientists from the Colombian Association of Genealogy told the magazine the Republic of Colombia is now led by someone with obvious blue bloodlines.
The royal roots of Uribe dig deeper into history. He allegedly is also tied to king Constantine of Greede, queen Nefertiti of Egypt and Pharaoh Anmoteph III, also of Egypt.
