
Two policemen and two FARC guerrillas died in an attack on a police patrol in the south west of Colombia Sunday. Seven civilians and one policeman were injured.
According to a police official, the guerrillas attacked a number of policemen who were doing security checks in the town of Algericas, Huila. The two deceased policemen died in this initial attack.
The policemen fired back and killed two of the attackers. Seven civillians caught in the crossfire were injured.
