The Colombian armed forces said Saturday they killed seven and arrested two guerrillas in combat in the east of the country.
According to the army, the offensive against the FARC's first front took place in the Guaviare department bordering Venezuela.
The guerrilla's first front is said to be the supporting troops of the Oriental Bloc of the FARC and responsible for the captivity of the guerrillas' political hostages.
