The Colombian army found and destroyed three camps they believe belong to the FARC in the departments of Arauca, Caqueta and Nariño. The camps had the capacity to house up to 100 people.

The first camp, located in the district of Galaxias in Arauca had the capacity to house up to 30 people. The army seized six explosive devices and 40 meters of detonating cord. According to investigators the camp belonged to the tenth squad of the FARC, El Espectador reported Monday.

The second camp, found in La Montañita, Caqueta, could house up to 80 and included an improvised hospital, training center and a lab to process alkaloids. Authorities believe it belonged to the 15th FARC squad.

The last camp was found on a river bank in Barbacoas, Nariño. Soldiers seized 1,500 cartridges, an electricity plant, a television and a satellite antenna. The camp is believed to belong to the ‘Antonio José de Sucre' squad.
