
Seven people were killed in a fight between two families in the south Colombian department of Nariño, local media report.
The massacre took place in the municipality of Barbacoas where members of two families started attacking th other for unknown reasons.
Apparently, the dispute had been going on for a few months already, newspaper El Espectador reported Saturday.
Nariño governor Antonio Navarra Wolf said the situation at the scene is very serious and that a humanitarian commission of the Prosecutor general's Office is on its way to the scene.
Local coroners, backed by the authorities, were able to remove the bodies who have not yet been identified.
