Colombian authorities arrested the second in command of the FARC's 50th front in Bogota. ' Wilmer' is accused of being responsible for finances of the guerrilla front.
'Wilmer' officially had deserted the FARC already and had taken part in a program for demobilized fighters, but was not meeting the legal requirements and will therefore have to appear before a court.
The guerrilla is suspected of sharing the responsibility in guerrilla attacks on a number of towns and villages, the murder of policemen and civilians, forced displacement, the recruitment of minors and kidnapping.
