Colombia counts 138 cases of AH1N1

Colombian health authorities raised the number of patients carrying the AH1N1 virus, or swine flu, to 138 on Wednesday after another 13 people were confirmed to have the virus. 

The new AH1N1 patients are from Chaparral (1), Neiva (1), Cucuta (1), Cali (1), Cartagena (1), Mocoa (1), Barranquilla (1), Sabanalarga (1) and Bogota (5).

The ten adults and three minors are allowed no visitors and are recuperating.

Since the break out of the virus, Colombian authorities issued an alert for possible swine flu in 3877 cases. 1914 people are currently considered "suspicious cases" because of symptoms that resemble that of AH1N1.

So far, four people died because of the swine flu.
