Terrorist attack leaves Arauca without electricity



Two electricity towers were blown up in the eastern department of Aracua early Wednesday morning, leaving many of its inhabitants without electricity local media reported.

Arauca Energy, the company that owns the towers, said the attack left more than 100,000 people without electricity.

Local media reported that Arauca Energy is negotiating an emergency supply of electricity from Venezuela.

According to El Espectador, Arauca militia attributed the attack to the FARC.
