FARC guerrillas escape with hostages

Two members of the FARC surrendered themselves and two hostages, after having escaped their guerrilla camp in central Colombia, newspaper El Tiempo reported Tuesday.

The demobilized guerrillas and their former captives presented themselves in a vilage in the Meta Department, sources told the newspaper.

Colombian authorities have long called on members of the FARC and ELN to demobilize and promise a reward and a ticket to France for those rebels who demobilize and liberate hostages.
