An alleged FARC attack on a power station in the southwest Cauca region has left the municipality of Timbiqui without power, reported Colombian media Friday.
The bombing, reportedly carried out by the FARC's 60th Front, took place late on Thursday evening when the attackers arrived by boat and fired on the local police station, before targeting the power station.
Secretary of Cauca Government Milena Edith Cabezas told media that the Colombian Navy and Air Force mobilized quickly but were unable to intercept the perpetrators.
No injuries or fatalities were reported from the incident.
