Rainy season worst in years: 600,000 victims

Colombia's worst rainy season in years led to a record number of people who are affected by the weather. 600,000 Colombians have damage to or lost their homes and crops.

The landslides and floods that followed the rain that hit Colombia the second half of September killed 34 people. Ten of them died when a landslide hit Miranda, Cauca.

Nearly three quarters of the country is going through an emergency situation with rivers overflowing or avalanches coming down mountains.
