FARC guerrillas kidnap four students

FARC guerrillas kidnapped four university students in the western department of Chocó, Colombian authorities say.

The four were stopped by guerrillas outside San José de Purré. The four students allegedly were being toured around by the tourguide, who is suspected of being part of the kidnapping plot.

The FARC is holding 25 high profile hostages it wants to exchange for 500 imprisoned guerrillas. Several hundreds were taken hostage for for ransom.
